Guarding Dhoni

My tax rupees is going towards training policewomen to fend off Dhoni's overzealous admirers! Now, I have nothing against comprehensive security for Dhoni as he probably faces a variety of security issues not of his making (and hopefully more important ones than these). If not I suggest that he foot the bill. The upside for the media is that they are having a field day with headlines.

It can be a move by the star to prove to the world that he is more popular among girls than Yuvraj. After all PR works :)

Ya it seems logical for the star or the board to boot the security expenses, or arrange for one, but in both cases, some technical issues arise, like what will happen if Government security(police) start to function like private security, and in the second case, what if the security arranged by the star hiself or herself, kills or inflicts grave injuries to an aggressive fan, like the one in which the private security of a godman killed an aggressive protestor or attacker in Mumbai a few weeks back.

I think he needs to go to Timbuktu for a break from the media, the fans, the police, ads, etc.

On security, you are right and the police should not have trivialized their role.
