Glory - Misfortune - Luck

On yesterday's Tour de France, a rider experienced all these three in a matter of minutes.

Glory: The youngest rider in this year's tour named Augustyn, climbed one of the highest category mountains in first place. The commentators were extolling his skill.

Misfortune: On the descent of this very steep mountain while in the leading group, he fell off the road. Unlucky you say, commentator's jinx...?
Here's a video link.
(another link of the same one)

Luck: Why? Because while the bike fell down even further, he managed to stop after 10-15 meters? And was not seriously injured... and then finished the race.

Brave: The spectator who ventured down to help him up!

I thought Oscar Periro's crash last week was frightening, but this was more stunning. (Oscar, though had several fractures, but was lucky as well)

RS/a fan,

I was glued to the LS.

Liked Omar Abdullah's speech.

What about you people?

Did watch the LS (could we escape it :-) ) - including the glitch where 50 votes suddenly disappeared in the electronic tally... That Dharmender flew back for the vote after a surgery, that convicted killers can vote, money bundles being waved by one and all - who will miss all that :-)

Tour coverage starts at 7.15 and I switched to the tour right after the vote.

Missed Rahul's speech. From the excerpts it appears he was interrupted?

was stuck at office :) ...thanks to ibnlive and ndtv, was able to follow it...

actually ott, just now my friend and myself were watching omar's speech rating in ibnlive.
my critic friend pointed out that shouldn't he have said,"i am an indian and a muslim"? actually he did it the other way round in the speech!!!

i am not sure whether mar abdullah would've thought so much about it or ppl who rated his speech the best...but i guess he should've taken slight care of this point.

a fan,

You should view it in context. He was replying to the accusation that all Muslims were against the Nuclear Deal and NC in particular was accused of being non-secular by the Left for aligning itself with the BJP.
