Saina breaks into the top 10

Quietly she has made her way to the top 10. At the start of the year, I did not know who Saina was, but have since then followed her tournaments online. The road will be tougher from here on it but she is aiming for the top 5 and then even the number one. Well done!. And in the news reports and the interviews I have seen, she seems to be dignified about her success and celebrations. Hope endorsements come her way! Perhaps also the Indian sports channels will showcase more of the badminton tournaments featuring her.

yes, it's a great progress in her sports career. also she looks more humbler even when compared to Sania Mirza.

Hope endorsements and the limelight doesn't act negatively to her career...

she is our true potential for becoming a world champion...if only she keeps the focus and we too let her...

a fan: Sania was also too young when she shot to fame and had so many off court distractions - perhaps was too young to deal with it. I think for Saina it will be better - plus tennis is more glamorous than badminton :)

sp: absolutely right - we have a tendency to put people on a pedestal and send them crashing down.
